SoftRunes is a simple yet elegant Runes interpretation program. SoftRunes is different from other electronic Runes programs in that it records and presents the spreads, but it offers no overall interpretation. Instead, it offers teaching tools that encourage the user to develop intuition.

SoftRunes' interface is simplistic and visually appealing. The interface presents virtual Runes stones from which you pick your choices from a scattered pile. The Runes can be pulled up at will, each with a brief description of the traditional interpretation and symbolism of the Rune, but these interpretations are offered for assistance only.

There is a built-in editor to store a record of the insights of the reader.

One of it's best features permits you to save the resulting spread to a file that can be retrieved at a later date. The editor permits only a brief notation, but this is handy for making note of the question asked, and the date of the reading.
